The merger of the Trzebinia Refinery and the Jedlicze Petroleum Refinery, the Naftowax Paraffin Factory and the Company Fire Service was recorded under a ruling of the District Court in Krakow. Due to completed consolidation processes, the value of the share capital of the Trzebinia Refinery was altered and the name of the company was changed to ORLEN Południe.
Registration by pertinent judiciary authorities was preceded by decisions adopted by Extraordinary General Meetings of Shareholders of the Trzebinia Refinery and the Jedlicze Petroleum Refinery regarding the merger of both companies. Consolidation also covered the Naftowax Petroleum Factory and the Company Fire Service, which merged with the Trzebinia Refinery.
ORLEN Południe has continued the complete business activity of the Trzebinia Refinery, the Jedlicze Petroleum Refinery and the Naftowax Paraffin Factory. The past strategy has remained unchanged and is primarily focused on the main segments related to the production and sales of biofuels and biocomponents, paraffin and solvents. A series of optimization initiatives were undertaken to contribute to the development of ORLEN Południe in the direction of a bio-refinery.
The offer of ORLEN Południe is completed to include products obtained through petroleum processing and oil regeneration.
