Antiozonant waxes are
used in rubber and tire industry. They are produced by composing, among others,
slack wax.
The waxes are added to
rubber compounds and dissolve in the rubber at the vulcanization temperature.
This causes the wax to migrate from the inside of the product to its surface,
protecting the rubber against ozone attacks.
They create a protective
layer on the surface of the rubber, which increases the durability of the
rubber, and also makes a glossy effect.
Antiozonant waxes extend
the service life of rubber and prevent it from peeling.
At
ORLEN Południe we offer the following series of waxes: Wosten and ORLEwax.
